Introducing the new, IRU River Ambassador Program

Are you dreaming of rivers during these winter months and how you’ll enjoy them this coming summer? Do you feel passionate about your home waters, or the connection you have to the river in your community? Are you ready to share your passion of conservation, stewardship, and advocacy with the world? Well if you do, we’d love to hear from you.

We are excited to announce and introduce the Idaho Rivers United River Ambassador Program, which will kick off this spring and run through the fall.

The goal for this program is to increase our brand awareness and mobilize our membership to advocacy through community engagement and events, as well as to expand our reach and impact across the state of Idaho by connecting and involving pre-existing river stewards and community leaders in our work. Our goal is to increase river education and advocacy, as well as include more diverse backgrounds into our work, and river conservation in general.

• Applicants fill out the application on Google Forms by March 24th, 2023

• IRU will announce 2023 ambassadors in April, and the program will begin in May.

• Applicants will need to reapply annually.
