IRU’s 2024 Annual Report

IRU is excited to share our 2024 Annual Report. We credit much of our success in the past and present to our strong network of river stewards and conservation partners. The power of our work begins with the small moments of stewardship – doing a river clean-up, connecting at an event, and building relationships all which leads to a greater ripple effect of advocacy of protecting our rivers and fisheries together.

Thank you for volunteering with IRU, for taking action for salmon recovery and Lower Snake River dam removal, for mining reform, and Wild & Scenic river designation. Thank you for signing petitions, reading our newsletters, writing letters, and submitting public comments. And most importantly thank you for your steadfast love of rivers.

We believe that rivers are the lifeblood of the planet, the freshwater veins that connect our habitats, ecosystems, and communities. We are relentless, resilient and water driven. This year’s annual report focuses on acknowledging our founders and looking ahead to the future. We are incredibly grateful for your support and proud to share our impact with you this year.
