10 Barrel Boise, Maravia-Cascade River Gear, & McU Sports raise over $13k for IRU!

This summer, 10 Barrel Brewing Company in Boise, Maravia-Cascade River Gear and McU Sports teamed up to create a fundraiser for Idaho Rivers United! The idea began with all things summer in mind -  beer, boats, and rivers! 

Each partner contributed a unique part to the fundraiser, making it an incredibly creative fundraiser! 10 Barrel Brewing Co. created a new Maravia River Pale Ale, and Maravia-Cascade River Gear customized a “River Beer” Scout boat, dubbed the “Stay Splashy” boat. A raffle was created for one lucky winner to win the custom Scout boat, with raffle ticket sales going to IRU. Additionally, a portion of the River Beer sales benefited IRU, too!  

With McU Sports helping with marketing and ticket sales, this trio collaboration sold thousands of tickets nationwide and sold 80 cases of beer in 3 months! Together they raised over $13,000 to support IRU’s work to keep “Idaho’s rivers healthy and flourishing for generations to come.” This #staysplashy boat was a huge hit, and we are all grateful for the participation in this raffle fundraiser! Congrats to Shannon -  a local gal who was the lucky winner of the #staysplashy boat!

 This is the largest donation these groups have been able to share with a local non-profit! Not only are we proud of their efforts, but we are also humbled by their drive to keep Idaho Rivers United work going strong.
